Doctoral Researcher
Kochakorn Chushim joined the PhD programme in Finance at Edinburgh Business School in September 2022. His doctoral research examines behavioural factors affecting investment decision-making of Thai investors. In addition, he is researching how behavioural factors affect different investment strategies used by Thai investors. His research is supervised by Associate Professor Eddie Jones and Assistant Professor Jia Lu.
Background
Before joining Heriot-Watt University as a PhD Student, Kochakorn worked in the banking industry where he spent about 10 years in Credit Risk Management at Krung Thai Bank, Thailand. From December 2018 to the present, Kochakorn worked as a Lecturer in Finance in the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy (Khon Kaen Business School) at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Thammasat University, Thailand in 2014, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) First Class Honours from Khon Kaen University, Thailand in 2009.
