Ready for your safe arrival
From the moment you leave home, to settling into your new accommodation, our Onboarding, Accommodation, Res Life and SafeGuarding teams are here to help guide and support you; whatever your circumstances and wherever in the world you are travelling from. Keep an eye out on this page for more updates on arrivals, where we will keep you updated with the very latest information on arriving to campus, whether you are joining us locally or from overseas.
We are partnered with Edinburgh Airport and through the #LetsFlySafe campaign, will be able to help get you to campus safely from the moment you touch down. For more information on travelling to campus, see Ready for travelling safe.

Arrivals from countries not 'green listed'
For those arriving from countries that are not green listed by the UK, there will be accommodation blocks dedicated to students who need to self-isolate for 10 days, with a starter food pack and PPE pack provided. Please ensure you let the accommodation know your arrival date and time so they can prepare.
Arrivals from 'green listed' countries
Students moving into accommodation from Home, RUK and other countries on the green list: Please book your arrival slot on Eventbrite and follow the guidelines. There will be one helper per student and a one hour slot for each student to move in. Key collection will be at the main reception between 08:00 and 20:00.
For anyone arriving out with 08:00 and 20:00, you can book into a hotel for one night and move onto campus the following day – this includes students from non green list countries. These arrangements are in place to allow us to safely manage your arrivals and move in, so please work with us to ensure your safety, and the safety of others.
Drop in and Appointment Sessions with Visa and International Support
Peter Scott also be available for virtual appointments throughout the 10 days of self-isolation if students have any questions or even just need to have a chat during this period.

Test and protect
Help prevent the spread of coronavirus by getting tested if you have symptoms. Read the latest Scottish Government guidelines. Further guidance on testing on campus will be provided in due course, so keep an eye on this page for more updates.
