Quarantine rules and information on the process for people entering Scotland.

Changes for fully vaccinated travellers and those under 18:

  • You no longer need to take a pre-departure test before travelling to Scotland from abroad or self-isolate when you arrive.
  • From 4am on Sunday 9 January, you can choose to take a day 2 lateral flow test after you arrive in Scotland rather than a day 2 PCR test. You can book your day 2 lateral flow test now. If you need to take a day 2 test before 4am on Sunday 9 January, you'll need to take a PCR test.
