Be a careers mentor
We connect professionals working in a wide variety of industries with current Heriot-Watt students to support their long-term career planning. By participating in our Career Mentoring Programme, you will have an important positive effect on a student’s career and development. Help with industry placements
We actively work in conjunction with employers and businesses of varying sizes across different sectors to create additional placement opportunities for our students who are looking to enrich their studies in the field. We offer a range of masters level degrees which have credit-bearing industry placements built into the courses to enhance student employability. If you are interested, you can find out more about how you can hire a placement student.
Our Employer Engagement team works closely with industry to help businesses find suitable students with the relevant skillset and knowledge aligned with business needs. Aside from our credit-bearing placement courses, if you are interested in exploring summer internships, part-time roles or graduate opportunities, we want to hear from you.
