Information for EU staff and staff working on EU funded Horizon 2020

The immigration status of EU staff has not changed as a result of the EU referendum vote.  This will remain the case until the UK leaves the UE, expected to be in 2019.

The status of the UK as a full participating member of the Horizon 2020 programme also has not changed as a result of the referendum vote.  Existing grants and contracts will be honoured unless the Government advises otherwise.

We will be operating as normal until the nature and timing of any change becomes clearer including active participation in European programmes and bids for research funding.  We are also reassuring our key European partners of our continued commitment to close collaboration and partnership working with them.

Further information and FAQs for University employees mat be found on our HR Intranet page Immigration Advice.
