EU student applicants
We want to reassure European applicants of our commitment to you and everyone in our global community.
We can confirm that your tuition fees for 2016/17 will continue to be covered by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS). Access to the student loan has not changed and this will apply to you for the duration of your studies with us.
If you are applying for 2017 or 2018 entry we would encourage you to do so. The Scottish Government has confirmed that students from the EU entering Scottish universities in 2017-18 and 2018-19 will see no change in their fee status for the duration of their studies.

International undergraduate and postgraduate offer holders 2016/17
We can confirm that our arrangements for international students remain the same.
If you have been offered a place to study at Heriot-Watt University to start in academic year 2016/17 there is no change to your fees or visa status.
We want to reassure you that we remain committed to providing the same world-class education to our international students and you will be joining Scotland’s most global University with over 3,500 students from Europe and the rest of the world studying at our Scottish campuses.
