Dave Campbell, Web Designer

As the web designer my role is to oversee all the design aspects of the website, ranging from sourcing graphical elements, to working in emerging web standards such as HTML5, CSS3 and mobile platforms. It is my job to increase the visual appeal of the website, whilst introducing new content such as video and user interactions.

I also provide support in web development within the OpenText Content Management System and am responsible for ensuring current accessibility and usability standards are adhered to.

Background

I have many years' professional experience as a web, graphic and multimedia designer and have worked both freelance and in studio. Before moving into academia web design, I was a senior new media designer for a leading agency in southern England. I am an expert in various web, design and rich media technologies and have a well-rounded and extensive skill set.

In the past I have worked with various hi-end clients including a TV chef and international sports stars.
