Student Service Centre

The Student Service Centre provides a single location for students to deal with the Finance Office, Hospitality Services and Academic Registry teams. The Centre opened in September 2010 to improve the student experience, a key part of the University's strategy.

Services available

The principal areas of services that the Centre will offer to students are:

• Issue of ID cards
• Council Tax exemptions
• Update of contact details/addresses
• Exam timetables and results processes
• Transcripts and certifications
• Graduation applications
• Processing payments and dealing with payment-related enquiries
• Providing advice and sign-posting for students to other University, School and Professional services

Many of the services that will be delivered by the Student Service Centre in the new central location are also provided in academic departments. The Centre is designed to allow students to obtain the service wherever is most convenient to them. In addition, on-line self-service access to a number of services will be available to students from any location (for example, enrolment, payments).
