Throughout the year, we arrange formal open days for prospective students and their friends and families to visit the campuses. We also arrange individual visits, and group visits for schools and colleges.

If you are a teacher, college staff or career adviser, our Education Liaison Office is happy to visit your school or college to provide information, advice and guidance about Heriot-Watt University, and higher education in general.

Individual & applicant visits

If you can't attend the formal open day, you can arrange an individual visit to the campus before you apply. Once you've applied, we'll invite you to a special applicant open day.

Our visits to schools & colleges

We offer a range of services for teachers and careers advisers, aimed at supporting you and your students through every stage of the transition from school to university.
