Students must be undertaking a research programme. These are very restricted in number and are mainly awarded in support of successful Overseas Research Students Award Scheme (ORSAS) applications.
The final date for receipt of applications is the end of April. You should apply for a place to study at the University by 1 March if you wish to apply for one of these scholarships. Only the most able students are likely to be successful in their application. If you apply for a James Watt Scholarship and are unsuccessful you may ask to be considered for either a Partial Scholarship or a Fees Only Scholarship.
Applications should be made through the School of Life Sciences.
