Tenaris is a leading supplier of tubes and related services for the world’s energy industry and certain other industrial applications.
Our mission is to deliver value to our customers through product development, manufacturing excellence, and supply chain management. We seek to minimize risk for our customers and help them reduce costs, increase flexibility and improve time-to-market. Tenaris employees around the world are committed to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge across a single global organization.
The Roberto Rocca Education Program is an initiative to provide Scholarships to talented undergraduate and graduate students of engineering and the applied sciences in selected countries. Founded in 2005 to honor the late Chairman of the Techint Group, Roberto Rocca, the program is sponsored in the UK by Tenaris.
Tenaris aims to select two recipients at Heriot-Watt University. 1 EU National Student in the 5th year of an Engineering degree and 1 African student in the 5th year of an engineering degree.
Applicants for both scholarships should be enrolled on year 5 of the 5-year MEng Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Electronic and Computing Engineering Degree programmes and must not be in receipt of a scholarship from an organisation other than Tenaris or Heriot-Watt University.
Each of the two recipients of the scholarship will receive £3,000 in the 2012-2013 academic year.
