This is a prestigious bi-lateral awards scheme, that funds French students who want to study in the UK (there is an equivalent scheme for British students who want to study in France.) The scholarships are for postgraduate study only and the total value is £10,000, either to fund a Masters course over 12 months or one year of a PhD programme. Scholarships for French students are managed by the British Council in France. The award is for one year only and is not renewable.
