The Smith Scholarship is open to applicants to the MSc in Actuarial Science, MSc in Actuarial Management or MSc in Quantitative Financial Risk Management programmes for the academic year 2013-2014. There is one scholarship available to the value of £10,000.
To be eligible for consideration for the Smith Scholarship award you should:
- be of Scottish origin;
AND be able to demonstrate
- an excellent academic record;
- commercial astuteness;
- a need for financial assistance.
Applicants may be required to be available for a telephone interview as part of the selection process.

You should provide a statement covering the criteria mentioned above and why you wish to study at Heriot-Watt University.
