Course credit transfer for visiting students

Visiting students should aim to take 60 SCQF credits per semester. Courses (classes) are normally worth 15 SCQF credits, meaning that students would normally take 4 courses in each semester.

The different courses on offer are taken from our first, second and third year classes:

  • First year is equivalent to a Sophomore level course.
  • Second year to a Junior level course.
  • Third year to a Senior/Graduate level course.

Remember, you will need to have your course choices approved by your home institution. You should check your home institution's credit transfer regulations before submitting your course choice form.
