Racket sports facilities

We have two sports halls available for a range of racket sports. Equipment, including rackets & bats, is available for hire.

Members can book courts up to 6 days in advance.

Squash

Scottish Squash is based in Edinburgh at Heriot-Watt and manages the Heriot-Watt Squash Academy that has produced some of the country's top players.

Squash facilities include:

• 1 championship court with viewing through both the front and back walls
• 6 glass-back courts
• 2 enclosed courts
• Viewing gallery into all courts
• Video analysis facilities
• Squash mini-leagues and ladders available for all standard of players
• Coaching available: contact us for more information

The squash courts can also be used for racketball.

Badminton

Badminton facilities include:

• 5 badminton courts with wooden sprung flooring
• Viewing area on 4 of the courts
• Badminton mini-leagues available for players at all levels

Tennis

Tennis facilities include:

• 3 all-weather, flood-lit tennis courts
• Badminton courts available for short-tennis

Table tennis

Table tennis facilities include:

• 4 table tennis tables
• Can be played in ether of the 2 indoor sports halls
• Viewing area available in main sports hall
