Online bookings & payments

Connect is our new online booking system, which allows you to make, change and cancel bookings for facilities and classes at the Centre for Sport & Exercise (CSE). It is available to all members as well as pay-as-you-play users.

Logging in to book online

To log in to Connect you will need the following log in details:

  • the email address we hold for you on our membership database
  • your personal pin 

If you are a CSE member, your log in details have already been emailed to the email address we hold for you on our membership database.  If you are a Student you will automatically receive your online login details by email the day after you enrol.

If you have not received our email (eg if you have changed email address), or if you are a pay-as-you-play user, you can complete the online form and we will email your log in details to you.

Why book online?

If you book online you will not need to queue at reception. Instead, you can just scan your membership/student card at the card readers and go through the turnstiles at reception.

You can make bookings up to six days in advance.

Online payments and refunds

If you are booking a facility or class online that has a charge, you must pay for this when you book. 

Your payment will be collected by Worldpay; the University does not hold any of your personal payment details

Payments made online are non-refundable. (Refunds will only be authorised at the discretion of management in exceptional circumstances.)

What can I book/pay online?

Astrodome and one third outdoor synthetic

Bookings made for the astrodome and synthetic will be charged at the member’s price level. You must show your 4 membership/student cards at reception or an additional charge will be applied.

Activities & classes

Bookings for the same activity are restricted to one booking per member per day, with the exception of fitness classes, which can be booked up to 4 times per day.

Student memberships

Buying your Bronze, Silver or Gold membership online is a quick, hassle-free way to join: just follow the online instructions.

Sports club memberships

If you have bought and paid for your CSE membership online, you can then pay for your sports club membership online too. (Please note: because you need to have a valid CSE membership to join a sports club, the online booking system will not let you buy a sports club membership unless you have a valid CSE membership.)
