 Roni has 18 years
experience as a lecturer in Higher Education, and has taught in a number of Universities:
the Open University, the University of Edinburgh, UWE (Bristol) and the University of
Central Lancashire. She has degrees in Spanish and Business Administration and is
currently working towards a doctorate in education. Her subject specialisation before
working in staff development was the Business and Technology of Spain.

 Russell is Module
Tutor for modules 2 and 5. He was previously a post-graduate management course leader at
Leeds Metropolitan University where he taught Human Resource Management and Development,
Strategic Management and Transport Operations Management, in addition to having
responsibility for teaching and learning within the Business School. He has worked in the
sector since 1983, initially as a research assistant at the University of Bath working on
the evaluation of scientific research funding, before moving to Northumbria where he was a
course leader for a major undergraduate programme in addition to his management teaching
responsibilities. He has been involved in web-supported learning, cross-cultural learning
and innovations in assessment and is currently working towards a doctorate in work-based
learning.
