We have an on-going commitment to high quality and innovative research as well as an evolving and well-established portfolio of taught postgraduate programmes. We have students from around the world studying full-time, part-time and by distance learning.

We undertake high-quality, high-impact research in a number of diverse areas related to the built environment. At least 70% of our overall research activity was confirmed as world-leading or internationally excellent in the UK’s Research Excellence Framework of 2014.
