New
Stock
You can find out about new Library stock in two ways:
- By viewing the links to lists of new stock - in Galashiels
only - below OR
- by selecting the "New
items" tab on the Library
Catalogue and specifying the location in the drop-down menu, e.g. "Galashiels
Library (SBC)", and the period required, e.g. "last week"
(this does not include every type of material, such as journal
contents).
We normally email users who requested the stock, who can either
reserve the item/s themselves, or ask us to do this for them.
If you wish to reserve any of these items (apart from "3 Hour Loan"
or "Quick Reference" copies), find the item in the
Catalogue and use the "Make
a request" action to place a
hold. For details of how to do this, click
here. When
confirming your hold request, remember to change the "Pick Up At"
point from "Riccarton Library"
to "SBC Library, Galashiels".
