Graduation Checklist
You may find this checklist useful:
- Check the date and time of your graduation ceremony and ensure that you arrive at least 1 hour before the ceremony is due to start
- Ensure you have completed the correct application form for your specific subject area as some Schools have been split into 2 ceremonies
- Ensure that you have included your graduation fee and payment for extra guest tickets. If your payment has been unsuccessful we will try to contact you via the email address on your form or your telephone number
- Clear any outstanding debt with the University by 17 May 2013, if you still have outstanding debt of £100 or more to the University after the deadline date for payment, you will not graduate
- Please contact the hire company to order your gown and hood well in advance of the ceremony, the company only bring a limited number of extra gowns and hoods to each ceremony and you will not be permitted to walk across the stage without one
- Please be aware that two of your guests are guaranteed to be be seated in the main auditorium however, if the guest allocation is oversubscribed any additional guests may be seated in a dedicated overflow area with a video link to the main auditorium. Please make your guests are aware of this prior to the ceremony
- Carefully read the On the day information
- Return all library books prior to the ceremony
