Academic Registry: International Student Advisors Office
The International Student Advisors’ Office (ISAO) is situated within the Academic Registry and has two main functions: providing advice and support to all international students on campus, and the administration of the University’s exchange programmes (Erasmus and non-EU) for both outgoing and incoming students.

ISAO has close links with all academic Schools within the University, with support services such as Recruitment and Admissions (International Recruitment Section), Student Accommodation and Support, the Chaplaincy, and external links with exchange partners abroad, the Home Office and the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA).
Students are welcome to visit the office in Lord Balerno Building at any time during opening hours, which are as follows:
Monday and Friday: 9:30am - 1:00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9:30am - 1:00pm and 2:00pm - 4:30pm
The office is staffed by two student advisors (Eileen Blackwood and Peter Reinbold) and by two part-time secretaries (Hazel Wheldon on Monday to Wednesday and Gillian Mitchell on Thursdays and Fridays). Eileen Blackwoord is in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
