Periodic Review

In addition to Annual Monitoring and Review, the University conducts internal periodic reviews of all its academic and academic-related activities.  These reviews are undertaken through four main processes as explained on the Periodic Review web page.

• Academic Review
• All academic provision, over a five-year cycle

• Academic-Related Professional Services Review
• Academic-related services provided by Professional Services, over a five-year cycle

• Internal Audit
• Additional scrutiny process for high and medium risk activities, over a three-year cycle

• Thematic Review
• University-wide issues; normally after the implementation of a major project
