This scheme is for the support of meritorious students in the fields of the Arts. The essence of the scheme, based on the constraints imposed on the Trustees in terms of the Constitution of this Trust, is that it should be promoted to Arts Undergraduates at all of the Scottish Universities but only to such of the students as are of Scottish birth or Scottish parentage.
For Undergraduates at Scottish Universities studying languages, history, philosophy, the performing arts etc.
The purpose of the awards is to extend vacation support for a programme of work in libraries, museums, galleries, workshops, master classes, centres of excellence either in this country or abroad.
Application forms & regulations can be obtained on The Cross Trust Website (www.thecrosstrust.org.uk). Completed forms should then be approved by the Head of School and then passed to Angela Ditchfield in the George Heriot Wing.
Please note applications will not be accepted directly, they must come through a Head of School. The deadline for applications is Monday 1 April 2013.
