The Heriot-Watt Staff Golf Club recently held its Spring Outing at West Linton Golf Course.
Despite a short flurry of snow at the start of day the weather cleared to and remained dry for the full day. The course was in very good condition and an enjoyable day was had by all who attended.
10 Players played in the morning competing for the Moxley Salver. This was won by Derek Ball with a net score of 69. Andrew Wallace was runner up with a net score of 72.
The afternoon round was played as a stableford competition. This was won by Agnes Cosgrove with an incredible score of 43 stableford points. This was a clear 9 points ahead of Iain Bortherston who was second with 34 stableford points.
The Summer Outing has been booked for Wednesday the 3rd of July at Kirkcaldy Golf Club in Fife.
