The Power Hour workshop programme for Semester 2 2012-13 offers a range of workshops for students aimed at enhancing information, research, study and IT skills. New for this Semester are sessions on ‘Keeping Control of Your Personal Information’ and ‘Study Support Software’. Look out also for the range of times offered including lunchtime, afternoon and early evening sessions. There are 33 topics on offer with over seventy different sessions to choose from.
If you'd like to brush up on your skills with citing, referencing and avoiding plagiarism; finding and evaluating information or presenting information, there are workshops for you. Maybe you’d like some study and lifestyle tips? Choose from a variety of topics - from essay writing to preparing for exams or from team-working to coping with stress.
The workshops are held in the Edinburgh Campus Library (top floor) in the Anderson Room or the adjacent Library Teaching Room.
