The latest NSS response rates for each department can now be viewed in the Edinburgh Campus Student's Union.
The NSS 'boatrace' board was installed on 19 February and will be updated weekly with the latest response rates across the University departments.
Responses Week Four
The University is now in week four of the survey and we are continuing to see excellent response rates in many departments / disciplines:
• Actuarial Maths & Statistics (AM&S) is joint first with Chemistry, both with a response rate of 86%, and AM&S has already beaten final response rate in 2012 (83%)
• Civil Engineering is in third place (with a rate of 78%)
Incentives / Prize Draws
NSS eligible students in the following departments, all of which have a response rate of over 70%, will be entered into the prize draw for their school for £100 graduation ball tickets / cash: Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Sport & Exercise Science, Economics (*New*), Languages (*New*), Actuarial Maths & Statistics, and Mathematics.
In addition, NSS eligible students in the following departments will automatically receive a £10 print quota for reaching a 60% response rate: Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Psychology, Sport & Exercise Science, Economics, Languages (*New*), Actuarial Maths & Statistics, and Mathematics.
