The consultation on the University's new Learning and Teaching Strategy is now in its final two weeks. Significant numbers of staff and students have already provided their views - 120 attendees at the five workshops at the Edinburgh, Dubai and Scottish Borders Campuses. Focus groups have been held by the Student Union to gather views from students. 40 individuals have completed the online survey. Invitations to participate in the survey have been extended to a selection of alumni, employers, Approved Learning Partners, External Examiners and Professional Bodies. In addition, Schools and Professional Services have held their own internal meetings to discuss the Learning and Teaching Strategy.

Feedback so far has been very helpful and informative, and has already identified a range of ways in which we can further refine the Learning and Teaching Strategy.

The consultation will close on Friday 29 March 2013. Therefore, please can we encourage you to contribute your views - widespread engagement is key to the successful implementation of the strategy. The easiest way to contribute is via the online survey

The consultation document provides the background information to the survey.

Once the consultation has closed, summaries will be made available on the Learning and Teaching Board website  and will be considered by the Learning and Teaching Board in April.

Thank you very much in advance for your contribution.
