Heriot-Watt University Honorary graduate and fashion business leader Kim Winser OBE launches her new brand, Winser London later this month.

Called ‘winserlondon.com’, the new business is an online luxury womenswear label. Further pop-up stores will appear in the spring – including in Scotland – though the location is still a closely-guarded secret.

Winser has worked with knitwear, textile and design students at Heriot-Watt University’s School of Textiles and Design and their work will feature in the winserlondon.com collection later this year.

Previously credited with re-inventing Pringle and transforming it into a global brand, the new label uses Scottish cashmere and merino knitwear from two mills in the Borders.

Speaking about her new collection, Kim Winser said:

“My collection is for women who are looking for great pieces that work for more than just a season. The designs have a great simplicity, with a strong focus on cut, fit and the quality of the fabrics and yarns.

The debut collection is modelled by Yasmin Le Bon.
