Gillian McFadzean, Director of Research and Enterprise Services (RES) is to leave Heriot-Watt University in November. She will step down as Director on 14th June and continue manage delivery of the REF submission, which will complete in November.
As an interim measure Andrew Menzies Director of Finance will take over the line management of RES whilst a review is carried out. RES and Finance will remain separate entities and will continue to provide an excellent level of service and support for schools in their collaboration, commercialisation and research work.
The University would like to take this opportunity to thank Gillian for her leadership and pioneering role as Director of RES during her time here at Heriot-Watt university and wish her well for the future.
