All Heriot-Watt development providers are joining together to host a short and informal information session. The event is open to all staff so that you can find out more about the types of development opportunities that will be available in Heriot-Watt throughout 2013.
There will be information stands where you can obtain details of development offered by Academic Enhancement, Organisational Development, Human Resources, Research and Enterprise Services, Health and Safety, Library, IT, Centre for Sport and Exercise, Heritage and Information Governance and Corporate Communications. Representatives from these areas will also be on hand to discuss development opportunities and one-to-one development discussions will also be available upon request.
There are two sessions planned on Monday 14 January 2013 in the Court Room. Each session will be opened by a guest speaker and these brief introductions will have a slightly different focus:
Session 1 opens at 10.30am, with an introduction targeted towards Professional Services staff
Session 2 opens at 12.15pm, with an introduction targeted towards Academic and Research staff
However, each session will have the same information available so staff are welcome to attend either session.
Each session is open for about one hour, with light refreshments available.
