Information Services will be carrying out essential maintenance work on the Microsoft Exchange 2010 Email Web App service between 8.00am and 8.30am (BST).
During this time the Exchange 2010 Web App used by Heriot-Watt staff should be considered "at risk". Access to Exchange 2010 email should also be considered to be "at risk" during this time if you are not using Microsoft Outlook desktop client to read your email.
Following this work users of the Windows 7 desktop service will need to login to the Exchange 2010 Web App using their Heriot Watt username and password, rather than the automatic login which briefly took place.
Staff and students using the older Exchange 2003 Email service will not be affected.
