Information Services will be carrying out essential network and systems maintenance work on Saturday 6th July 2013 between 8:00 and 18:00 hours (GMT). This work is required to improve the reliability and resilience of IS services in preparation for the start of next semester. IS have commissioned assistance from outside partners to assist in carrying out this work.
During this time the majority of central services including email, staff and student file stores, home directories and many others will be affected. It should be assumed that there will be major disruption to all IS services.
IS apologises for any inconvenience which may be caused but the benefits will outweigh any short term difficulties.
