Professor James Ritchie's appointment as Dean (Science and Engineering), which was announced on 13 December, will commence on 1 April 2013, and will be for three years.
In the run up to his appointment Professor Ritchie will begin to attend a selection of meetings of relevant committees and boards to assist him in his preparation for the appointment.
Professor Phillip John, currently Dean (Science and Engineering) will be appointed as Senior Dean from 1 April 2013.
