We are continuing to see excellent response rates in many areas:

  • The department with the highest response rate is still Chemistry, with a response rate of 86%
  • Actuarial Maths and Stats is second highest with a rate of 83%
  • Civil Engineering is in third place (with a rate of 77%)

Some departments have had a slower start than previously and currently have a lower response rate than at the same point last year:

  • Physics currently has a response rate of 16% (compared to 30% at the same time last year)
  • Chemical Engineering is currently at 48% (97% last year)
  • Management at SBC is currently at 11% (23% last year)
  • Textiles & Design is currently at 24% (40% last year)

This week, Economics has achieved the minimum threshold for publication of their results, and Computer Science and Chemical Engineering not far behind.
