Last chance to apply for the IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarships and the IET undergraduate scholarships – deadline 27th June!

This is the last chance students can apply for either the IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarships or the IET undergraduate scholarships. Please pass this information on to anyone who you think might be eligible and get them to apply online as soon as possible. Application deadline is 27 June 2013.

The Diamond Jubilee Scholarship

Criteria

Available to any student who receives the following grades; 3 ‘A’s at A Level, or 3 ‘A’ grade Advanced Highers or 5 ‘A’ grade Highers (or an International Baccalaureate Diploma at 36 points or above).

  • No other equivalent qualifications are eligible
  • Be embarking on the first year of an IET accredited BEng or MEng programme in Autumn 2013
  • Be a UK resident
  • Not be in receipt of another IET scholarship or IET grant

Students who meet the minimum criteria will be entitled to an IET scholarship of £1,000 per year for the duration of their degree course, up to a maximum of £3,000 for Bachelors students and £4,000 for MEng students.

IET undergraduate scholarships

The IET offers a range of grants to students studying an IET accredited degree programme in the UK, which have a maximum value of £1,000.

Criteria

  • Commencing the second, third or final year of an IET accredited degree course in October 2013
  • Expect to obtain 60 per cent or more (i.e. a 2.i or above) in their end of year exams
