The Equality Essentials is about giving participants the skills and confidence they need in responding to the equality and diversity agenda.

Using participative exercises the course aims to show how equality and diversity is part of the daily activities of Universities, enabling participants to see creative and practical ways of addressing equality and diversity within a Higher Education setting.

The course builds on the its successful forerunner 'Diverse Possibilities' with the session open to staff from Edinburgh Napier University and Heriot-Watt University.
