One day that could change your life
Come and explore the opportunities and discover why we are The Sunday Times Scottish University of the Year 2011-12.
Our Open Day is a great opportunity for you to meet some of our current students and staff and hear about how exciting and rewarding the student experience is at Heriot-Watt University.
We have a central exhibition of our Academic Schools where you can discuss your programme options with relevant members of staff. You can also attend one of our General Information Presentations covering a wide range of topics related to studying with us.
While you're on campus, you can take a tour with one of our current students to see the Students' Union, Sports Centre, Library and anywhere else that you think is important. You will also be able to view our Student Accommodation.
The Open Day is free and open to everyone: bring your friends, family or just yourself to find out more about student life at Heriot-Watt.

Online registration
We strongly recommend that you book your place at the Open Day in advance via our online booking system. This enables you to register your details and book any Academic Activities you wish to join during your visit. There are limited spaces available to visit departments and/or attend subject specific presentations, so pre-booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
Read our Open Day Programme in advance to allow you to plan your time on Campus. You can also pick up a copy on the day from the Open Day reception desks in the James Watt Centre when you arrive.
During the Open Day there will also be a number of opportunities to join a Campus Tour, visit the Student Accommodation and attend General Information Presentations.
Prospective students should register to attend, but please also include the number of accompanying guests in your booking.
Your information
The information supplied on the booking form will be used by the University for the purpose of sending you materials regarding Open Day and the University generally.
It will then be retained on a database to enable the University to conduct market research and quality assurance checks. The information will not be made available outside the University.
Please note that we are using an external provider (eventbrite.com) to manage our Open Day bookings. This means that your data will be stored by this external provider.
