Edinburgh Campus

You can find out where all the Edinburgh Campus PC labs are and how to get access to computing and IT services, including wi-fi, the VISION virtual learning environment, email, software and printers, at the IT Helpdesk portal.

The IT helpdesk on the Edinburgh Campus can be found in the Library. You can contact them via the IT Helpdesk portal, by email ithelp@hw.ac.uk or by calling +44 (0) 131 451 4045.

Scottish Borders Campus

You will have a Library & IT induction session as part of your enrolment (see your enrolment timetable for the exact dates and times). During your induction session, you'll be shown where all the networked PCs are on campus, and how to log into them.

The IT facilities on the Scottish Borders Campus are run by Borders College (not Heriot-Watt University). If you have any IT issues, you should contact the IT Helpdesk on the Borders Campus, who will be happy to help you.
