    "SLA" is an experimental and theoretical area devoted to advancing our understanding of (non-native) language development whenever and in whichever context that development may be taking place.

  • Other sites announcing, for example "applied" events, such as "applied linguistics" or "language teaching" meetings are not included unless there is a significant SLA presence there: some child language meetings are listed for this particular reason.
  • Organisers of future meetings are encouraged to contact this site and register with us!
