The Library subscribes to a service called Factiva which provides the full text of 2,300+ international newspapers including:

The Financial Times (Searching the Financial Times)
The Wall Street journal
South China Morning post
Le Monde
Les Echos
The Guardian
Handelsblatt
The Daily Telegraph
The Herald
The Independent
The Scotsman
The Times

You can search newspapers separately or search key publications from a specific country.

Factiva is available from off campus using your Heriot-Watt username/password.

A number of daily newspapers are available on level 2 , near the Library cafe. These include:

Times Higher Supplement

The Library also receives a number of overseas newspapers as gifts for use by students. We cannot guarantee which newspapers will be given to us in any year, but in the past they have included newspapers from Germany, France, Spain, China, India, Greece, Malaysia and Norway.

Most newspapers are kept for one month. Exceptions are the Financial Times, Times and Times Higher Supplement which are kept for 6 months.
