EndNote and EndNote Web
EndNote and EndNote Web
are academic writing tools which allow you to
store, manage and format references for in-text citations, reference
lists and bibliographies. EndNote and EndNote Web
are fully compatible, allowing references to be transferred
between the two versions. To compare the products and work out

EndNote
EndNote is the desktop version of the package. The University has a site licence for this product which is installed on the networked PCs. Support for EndNote desktop is provided by the IT trainer. EndNote Web
EndNote Web is a web-based, 'lite' version of Endnote desktop. You can access this service by registering on the EndNote Web website. You can also access EndnotWeb via Web of Knowledge and selecting 'My EndnoteWeb' from the header menu. A plug-in to enable you to 'cite while you write' is installed on the network PCs and can be downloaded to your home computer / laptop from the EndnoteWeb website.
