The HWU Malaysia Campus Project Board will provide management and direction to the Project, ensure that effective project management methods are used, monitor progress, maintain a risk register, receive regular financial reports, and provide regular reports to the Court, Oversight Board, University Executive and other Stakeholders.

An ambitious £26m project to develop new residences buildings at the University's Edinburgh and Scottish Borders Campuses began in February 2011. The new buildings will replace residences built in the early 1970s which are reaching the end of their useful life.
