The Heriot-Watt Pipe Band was founded in 1994 by a group of staff and students who wanted to create a group to perform at University functions and events within the community. This tradition continues today with the band performing at range of events including University Graduation Ceremonies, Black Tie Dinners and Community Galas and fairs.
