Collections Committee
Terms of reference
- To meet at least three times in each year in order to consider aims and objectives (both
long- and short-term), and recommend policy in relation to development and exploitation of
the University's collections of items of historical and artistic interest.
- To provide advice and expertise relating to acquisition and the management of the
collections.
- Actively to assist with the procural of adequate resources with which to carry out the
policies thus established, and to scrutinise and make observations on the annual estimates
prepared by the University Archivist.
- To report to the Court in relation to all of the above areas of activity.
- To pursue the preservation of the historic collections for University and public benefit
