Wednesday meal at Chaplaincy

Welcome to the Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy welcomes students and staff from all backgrounds and cultures and is open to those who are religious and those of no faith. The Chaplaincy is also used by external groups and conferences. A range of facilities is available.

You can, for instance:

• relax in the lounge over coffee or tea, microwave your lunch
• play a game of snooker, table-tennis, darts or table football
• watch the TV or DVD/Video
• use wi-fi
• practise the baby grand piano or your own musical instrument
• join the other activities mentioned on this website
• enjoy the patio area and barbecue facilities
• use the lounge/dining room/kitchen as well as the Chapel, Prayer Room and Meeting Room
• come to the FREE Wednesday meal at 6.00 pm - students cooking for students during term time. Meet many students from all over the world. There is always vegetarian food available.

The Chaplain and Honorary Chaplains are available for pastoral/counselling matters and to discuss questions of faith, weddings, baptisms, church membership, personal matters and any other issues. Confidentiality is assured. Feel free to come in for a chat about anything.

Bookings of the Chaplaincy for social events, barbeques, meetings, or weddings can be made through the secretary (Tillie) during office hours.
