Events - Everybody Welcome!
Many social events are booked by societies and individuals religious and non-religious . In addition, the Chaplaincy itself organises the following events, as well as occasional evening events.
Social events during semester:
Every Tuesday 12.30 - 2.00pm Soup Tuesday (Home-made soup and bread lunch)
Every Wednesday 6.:00pm Wednesday meal from across the world - students cooking for students. (FREE and vegetarian food available)
Fridays 12.45 - 2.15pm Wives' Group for wives of international students and staff
Saturdays/Weekends - Visits to Scotland's scenic countryside, towns and villages - especially for International Students. British students also welcome. See also: Chaplaincy Trips and Tours

Sunday 2 February 2014 10.00am University Anniversary Service, Currie Kirk.
Monday 3 February 2014 6.30pm Chaplaincy Annual Lecture, James Watt Centre. Attracts many hunderds of people. This coming year's speaker will be Professor Tom Wright (St Andrews University & former Bishop of Durham). He is an internationally renowned scholar and social commentator.
Religious Services and Meetings (held in the Chaplaincy Chapel)
Every Saturday 6.00pm Catholic Vigil Mass
Every Sunday 11.30am University Church Service and Bible Teaching (Non-denominational), conducted by the University Chaplain. Followed by Free Pizza Lunch and sometimes a minibus trip into the surrounding area.
Several Religious Societies use the Chaplaincy regularly
Wednesdays 7.30pm International Christian Fellowship
Thursdays 7:00pm Christian Union
The Chaplaincy is also regularly used by societies representing non-christian religions.
