Job description

We are seeking a Teaching Fellow in Fashion / Marketing ideally with knowledge of branding and management. Teaching experience within management and associated marketing related subject areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels including the design and delivery of an effective student learning experience is preferable.

You will have demonstrable expertise in some of the following areas: current approaches to brand development, the contribution of branding to the achievement of competitive advantage within businesses and brand extensions, and / or general management.

You should have excellent communication skills and show a genuine enthusiasm for teaching with a demonstrable interest in web based learning resources and innovation in teaching and assessment. This will be underpinned by and evidenced through your professional research and/or practice within an aspect of the discipline. You will play a role in the pastoral support of postgraduate and undergraduate students, work effectively within a team in support of academic excellence.

The post-holder will be expected to maintain existing and forge new links with industry, external organisations and the education sector in the UK and internationally. You should possess or be close to completing a PhD in management, marketing or a related topic area.
