Job description

Heriot-Watt University is a leading centre for research and teaching in finance. We have a strong commitment to excellence in research which is carried out in conjunction with the Centre for Finance and Investment (see http://www.sml.hw.ac.uk/research/cfi.htm). Ongoing research interests include corporate governance, risk assessment, market efficiency, financial econometrics, market microstructure and term structure models. The successful MSc programmes in Finance, Finance and Management, and Investment Management have grown rapidly in recent years.

Applicants for this post can specialise in any aspect of finance but should have a strong track record of research, publication and teaching.  We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in developing external links with the financial services industry.
