Job description

The School of the Built Environment in partnership with the School of Textiles and Design has established an exciting degree programme in Interior Design at its Scottish and Dubai campuses. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic lecturer to work collaboratively with existing team members to deliver and contribute to teaching. You will have the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to deliver courses on the Interior Design programme by critically engaging with the leading edge of his/her discipline and establishing a reputation for excellence in teaching, research and/or creative practice.

Based in Edinburgh, you will be a member of a strong academic teaching staff in both Textiles and Design and in Civil and Architectural Engineering. You will also work alongside the design teaching team in Dubai. A practical knowledge of Interior Design gained within industry is desirable along with excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, team working and organisational skills.
